Hometown: Waterbury Center, Vermont
Interests: I am a Program II Major in Bioethics, Genomics and Behavioral Neuroscience, so while my academic studies are the intersection of the biosciences and law, public policy and ethics, I also love to dance!
Work: I am interning for Sonke Gender Justice in the Policy Development and Advocacy unit. Their work includes legal advocacy and policy engagement for local and national cases involving sex workers’ rights, gender equality, human rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights and cases of sexual and gender based violence.
Favorite Memory in South Africa so far: Connecting with students at the Albert Street School in Johannesburg and our meetings with all of our speakers (I can’t pick one…)
